I've had an Etsy shop for 10 years now, mostly selling jewelry, beads and some vintage items. In the past year I started hand sculpting, one of a kind, decorative Shrunken Heads, which I call "Mere Immortals". My original intention was just to keep myself busy while recovering from an injury, that left me unable to walk for several months. I am much better now, but I have enjoyed making them so much, I can't stop! I have a lot of interesting beads, I've accumulated over the years, and use some of these to adorn the heads.
Each of my "Mere Immortal" shrunken heads are made by hand, with a character that is all its own. I do not use molds. Mainly because sculpting is very new to me, and I don't know how to make a mold. It does take a lot longer, but I enjoy doing it, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Thank you for visiting my new "old" shop.
